Meadowdale blue could be seen everywhere as hundreds of parents and athletes filled Edmonds Stadium April 11. The Meadowdale Mavericks competed against the Snohomish Panthers and the Mountlake Terrace Hawks.
Hats off to the following athletes for winning their event: Sesley Love in the Womenโs 400m with a time of 1:03.22 sec. (season record); Maya Dailer, Sonja Amy, Sesley Love and Catherine Do in the Womenโs 4x400m Relay with a time of 4:36.96 min.; Issac Calson in the Menโs 400m with a time of 53.80 sec.; and Raymond Free in both the long and triple jumps with a distance of 22-ft 2-in and 45-ft 5.5-in respectively. Overall, the Menโs Team scored 55 vs. Hawks 88 and 32 vs. Panthers 118. The Womenโs Team scored 79 vs. Hawks 57 for the win.
The Mavericks next meet is 3:30pm April 18th at Shoreline Stadium, where they compete against Shorewood.
