There is no rain in the forecast for Thursday night (finally!), so get out of the house and join us downtown Edmonds this Thursday night from 5-8pm for Art Walk!
Up at Frances Anderson Center (700 Main St) in the Edmonds Arts Festival Gallery Room, honor the life and work of the exceptional Edmonds artist Pamela Mummy by viewing a representation of her vast collection of sculptures and paintings. Pamela passed away in 2018 from pancreatic cancer and leaves a legacy of annual scholarships for art education and several Edmonds Arts Festival juried art awards in her name.
Continue on down the hill to visit Christopher Framing & Gallery (537 Main St) to see work by landscape artist, Ian Henderson. Make a stop at Kelnero (545 Main St) to see artwork by Kendrick Owen and enjoy pianist Josh Byeman tickling the ivories. Maize & Barley (525 Main St) is serving up monotype impressions and miniature linocut prints in Pacific NW style by Carolyn Votaw.
Bright and cheerful artwork by Robyn Jordan is at Windermere Real Estate (210 5th Ave S). Coldwell Banker Bain’s (108 5th Ave S) annual art show featuring the artwork of elementary students — this year Terrace Place kindergarteners and College Place students, is sure to put a smile on your face. More bright and creative artwork by Rebeca Rambal can be found at Edmonds Realty (111 Main St).
If bold, eclectic work is your jam, then you are sure to love the Featured Art Show this month. Hosted by Crow (114 4th Ave N), Heidi Barnett will be featuring her artistic style of “organic pointillism.” Let her tell you how she creates her art using a collection of tools including pallette knives, fingers, and even q-tips!
Over 18 art stops this month are sure to tickle your fancy. Peruse the map, plan your route and join us in downtown Edmonds this Thursday night and do something AWEsome!
