Alderwood Mall closed – No access permitted

Lynnwood Police | Press Release

LYNNWOOD, WA (June 1, 2020) – We have become aware of potential groups bent on causing property damage and theft at the Alderwood Mall, similar to what we have seen in other neighboring jurisdictions in the Puget Sound region.  We are staging resources and are also denying access to the Alderwood Mall as a precautionary measure.  Businesses at the Alderwood Mall are closed and barricades are in place to prevent access to the area. At the request of Alderwood Mall management, access to the Alderwood Mall will be denied.

In addition to mall access being closed, what follows is a temporary list of road closures in that area:

  • 184th and 36th
  • 188th and 36th
  • Maple and Alderwood Mall Parkway
  • Alderwood Mall Blvd and 33rd
  • 194th and Alderwood Mall Parkway
  • Maple and 33rd
