Snohomish County Arts Commission Seeks Inspiring Art for Veteran’s Memorial Bridge, Haller Park/Centennial Trail in Arlington WA
SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash., April 15, 2021 – The Snohomish County Arts Commission is seeking proposals for art to establish the Haller/Centennial Trail Bridge as a Memorial Bridge for veterans of the post-Cold War era which is collaboratively supported by Snohomish County Executive Dave Somers and County Councilmember Nate Nehring of District 1.
The competition is open to professional artists residing in Snohomish County. Proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. April 25, 2021. The Arts Commission plans to present the conceptual artwork on Memorial Day, May 31, 2021 and unveil the final piece on Memorial Day, May 30, 2022.
