On Thursday, May 12, more than 65 employers will be hosting on-site interviews for job seekers Snohomish County in the City of Lynnwood. The in-person event is free to attend.
The job fair will provide employers the opportunity to meet and interview candidates in person. Employers will represent a variety of industries including healthcare, aerospace, hospitality, law enforcement, transportation, logistics, and more. Employers will be hiring for a range of roles from entry-level to middle management.
The event will also provide resources to potential employees, including resume building and interview support.
The Job fair will be held on Thursday May 12 from 4 to 7pm at the Lynnwood Convention Center 3711 196th Street SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036.

Lynnwood’s Memorial Day Ceremony on May 30th
The City of Lynnwood will be hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 30, at 11 a.m. at Veterans Park, off of 44th Avenue West and Veterans Way.
The ceremony is sponsored by Lynnwood American Legion Post 37 and Lynnwood Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1040 and includes music, laying of a wreath, and a rifle salute. More program details will be released as the event’s date approaches.

Cops & Kids event in Lynnwood on June 4th
On Saturday, June 4, the Lynnwood Police Department (LPD) will be hosting a Cops & Kids event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Alderwood Mall Terraces.
The LPD will be displaying and giving tours of police cars, motorcycles, and specialty police vehicles. There will also be k-9 demonstrations and giveaways, so bring the kids and get ready to have fun!

Marysville’s Poochella in the Park on June 4th
Lastly, Marysville’s Poochella in the Park is kicking off on Saturday, June 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Asbery Field in Marysville. Bring your dog and enjoy an afternoon full of frolicking and festivities with dog-focused vendors.
Asbery Field will also be converted into a fenced-in playground and contest area. Activities will go from at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and include a costume event and best tricks competition.
