EVERETT, Wash., October 26, 2022—On Wednesday, October 19, the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force (SRDTF) recovered $1.5 million worth of drugs from an Everett apartment.
On Wednesday evening, apartment staff were processing an eviction on an abandoned apartment unit. When the apartment manager entered the tenant’s apartment, he observed a large quantity of drugs and immediately called 9-1-1. Everett Police Department patrol units responded to the apartment and noted the quantity of drugs inside was extensive and requested assistance. Everett PD’s Anti-Crime team and the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, SRDTF detectives determined the quantity of drugs was indicative of a high-level drug trafficking organization. Inside the apartment, detectives recovered over 3,000 grams of heroin, 2,500 grams of pure fentanyl powder, over 100,000 M-30 fentanyl pills, 989 grams of cocaine, over 21,000 grams of methamphetamine, and 101 gallons of ethanol.
SRDTF detectives, in collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), have identified persons of interest in this case. This remains an active investigation.
