Snohomish County Deputy recovers four stolen motorcycles

LYNNWOOD, Wash., April 10, 2023—Having responded to a trespass call at the 3500 block of 132nd Street in Lynnwood, Snohomish County Deputy Sanchez was alerted to a storage container box with several motorcycles inside. The lot is a known to be a hotbed for squatters.

After confirming the storage container did not belong to the land owner, the deputy photographed its contents then ran the VIN numbers of the motorcycles.

It was discovered that three of the motorcycles were stolen and one was not recently registered. He then called each of the owners and the bikes were successfully returned to them. The fourth motorcycle one was impounded.

The online community is a buzz on the Facebook announcement of Deputy Sanchez’ great police work with comments such as, “Good work!” “Bada Bing” and “What a rockstar!”

  1. Funny thing my motorcycle got stolen this morning right when I was about to leave for work. Sad thing is that officer have a no chase policy and let them get away.
