Residents asked to weigh in on design for Marysville-Lake Stevens trail

MARYSVILLE, Wash., April 24, 2023—Are you a trail user or resident interested in reviewing the design of the extension of Marysville’s Bayview Trail south to Lake Stevens? You’re invited to stop by an open house to learn more and ask questions on Thursday, April 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Jennings Park Barn, 6915 Armar Rd., Marysville.

You can also view plans to date and comment on the details through a questionnaire that takes 5-10 minutes to complete. It features an interactive map where respondents can make location-based comments along with a survey asking about trail use, knowledge of the corridor and questions about development.

Please provide your comments at http://mpt.link/BayviewTrailConnector. The survey closes on May 30, 2023.

A $504,700 grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce is funding trail design to 30% completion. Additional funding is needed to complete design and begin construction. When the Bayview Trail Connector project is complete, walkers and cyclists will be able to enjoy nearly eight miles of paved trail extending from north Lake Stevens through southeast Marysville to the regional Centennial Trail.
