EDMONDS, Wash., June 2, 2023—Detectives have identified a man involved in the burglary of an occupied home off 9th Avenue North in Edmonds, yesterday morning, Thursday, June 1. However, due to the ongoing investigation the department is not releasing his name at this time.

The suspected burglar also stole the victim’s vehicle and later, around 7 a.m., fled from police in the south Everett area. The vehicle has since been recovered.
The Edmonds Police Department is actively working with its L.E. partners to locate and arrest him on probable cause for multiple crimes.
Edmonds PD also believe the man to be the same suspect who fled from a hit and run collision at 8th and Capers shortly before the burglary occurred.
The suspect is a white male, last seen wearing a Sonics Gary Payton jersey with light colored pants, black and white shoes, a blue hat, and several tattoos on both of his arms.

“Thank you to all that provided us with information,” Edmonds Police wrote in a twitter post Friday.
Edmonds PD urged the public not to approach the suspect if seen as he is believed to be dangerous. They encourage all sightings to be reported to Edmonds Police or email policetips@edmondswa.gov.
