Family resource center to open second Marysville location

MARYSVILLE, WASH, June 14, 2023 — LINC NW, a community resource center serving Marysville residents and families, is opening a second location. You’re invited to join the grand opening celebration for the LINC NW Nonprofit Hub at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at its new Jennings Park office, 6915 Armar Rd. Mayor Jon Nehring will speak briefly and lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a building tour and light refreshments.

The nonprofit hub houses the following public service resources:

  • LINC NW is a Family Resource Center in Marysville, working together with our community to build resilience, find support, and connect to each other in meaningful and transformational relationships. We provide resource navigation, mentoring, parent skill building, basic needs assistance, emergency weather sheltering, and other meaningful and practical resource tools. http://www.lincnw.org 
  • Keep Dreams Alive Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in July of 2020 to serve the Spanish-speaking and Latino community of Marysville and Snohomish County. We want to contribute to the success of our Hispanic community and in the preservation of our culture and language. We help remove barriers to access education, legal services, and wellness so families can thrive. www.keepdreamsalive.org
  • C-Suite Center for Hope offers a safe space for cancer patients and their caregivers to find confidential, compassionate support and a better quality of life in cancer. We build personal navigation plans encompassing education, support groups, and comfort/personal care resources by creating strategic alliances in our nonprofit community and connections with local city programs. www.c-suitehope.org
  • Early Achievers: Opportunity Council/Child Care Aware NW is dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to high-quality early care and education.  We do this by partnering with childcare providers through culturally responsive coaching relationships and professional development and by supporting families find a program that meets their needs.

“This second location will make it easier for families downtown and in south Marysville to access much-needed community resources,” Mayor Jon Nehring. “I appreciate the important work that LINC NW and its partners do, and their mission to serving the entire greater Marysville community.”

Both LINC NW locations are open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and other times by appointment.

LINC NW opened its first location in the Lakewood area at 1424 172nd St. N.E., offering a family resource center and community support services. Among its many services to the community, LINC NW operates the Marysville Cold Weather Shelter in partnership with Snohomish County.
