City staff crafted the Marysville Housing Action Plan (HAP) draft to meet the goals of:
- Expanding housing options,
- Creating workforce housing for local employees, and
- Stabilizing households for existing residents to remain in their homes.
Another way to share your thoughts is by reviewing the draft plan and participating in a public survey at https://www.marysvillewa.gov/1274/Housing-Action-Plan.
The HAP will be used to update the Housing Element of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and provide context for the Land Use Element. The HAP’s data and action items will also provide the direction and strategies needed to ensure the City meets its housing needs sustainably and equitably.Â
