Rain, rain, and more rain forecasted this week

SNOHOMISH COUNTY—The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory of freezing rain/snow starting 7 p.m., Tuesday, to 4 a.m., Wednesday, January 17. Expect this mixed participation in lowlands of western Skagit County, including Cypress Island, Guemes Island, Anacortes, Mount Vernon, and La Conner, Everett and vicinity, including Stanwood, Marysville, and Mountlake Terrace and Admiralty Inlet Area, including Port Townsend, Whidbey Island, and Camano Island.

For Wednesday to Thursday night, expect rain, possibly mixed with snow, then more rain through mid of next week. Temperatures are expected to remain cool for the rest of the week and warms up to 51oF by January 23.
