On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 7:33 p.m., three masked males entered the Mill Creek T-Mobile store at 16314 Bothell-Everett HWY while the store was open for business. The customers and employees inside ran from the store while the suspects kicked in the back-office door. No injuries were reported; however, several items, including merchandise from the secure back office, were stolen.

A Mill Creek officer attempted to stop the suspects as they fled in a stolen black Chevrolet Trailblazer. However, the officer could not pursue the vehicle under current Washington State law, and the suspects escaped. The Lynnwood Police Department later recovered the stolen vehicle.
