Landyn Olson joins Snohomish County Sports Commission

The Snohomish County Sports Commission is delighted to announce the hiring of Landyn Olson as the Sports Development Coordinator. He will be responsible for bringing new sporting events to Snohomish County and building relationships with the sports organizations.

“We are delighted to have Landyn join the sports commission team. His passion for the community and sports will give us an opportunity to showcase Snohomish County to a variety of sports event organizations and bring new sporting events to our community,” states Tammy Dunn, Snohomish County Sports Commission Executive Director. 

Landyn grew up in Marysville, Washington and attended Marysville Getchell High School. He played basketball and football and was honored as a captain for both his senior year. He graduated from Western Washington University, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. At WWU, he was a board member of the Financial Management Association serving as the Director of Marketing. In June 2023, Landyn graduated with Cum Laude honors.

Before the Snohomish County Sports Commission, Landyn worked at CES-Industrial Solution in Longview, Washington. His position was in wholesale industrial automation sales.

In Landyn’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing cornhole and bowling, and cooking one of his favorite meal, chicken wings and homemade mac n cheese. Landyn can be found cheering on his favorite sports team, Seattle Seahawks, during the NFL season.
