In the early morning hours of March 12, officers responded to multiple 911 calls of gunshots heard in the 12100 block of State Avenue in Marysville. Callers were able to describe that the shots were coming from a vehicle, and officers were quickly in the area.

Patrol officers stopped the suspected vehicle and detained two adult male suspects. During this stop, officers soon realized that the vehicle and at least one of the suspects were involved in two 7-11 robberies that occurred the prior week in Marysville.

After interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence, the two detained suspects were arrested for drive-by shooting and the vehicle was seized for a search warrant. No one was injured in the drive-by shooting, though several apartments were hit by gunfire.

Marysville Police Department detectives were then able to link the vehicle and one of the suspects to the two 7-11 robberies. This suspect was charged with two counts of Robbery in the 1st degree, in addition to the drive-by shooting charge.

A search warrant was served on the suspect vehicle on March 13 and a firearm was located. This firearm was suspected to have been used in both robberies and also the drive-by shooting. The firearm found is commonly referred to as “ghost gun,” as it appeared to be a Privately Made Firearm (PMF) without a serial number.

Our agency is requesting public assistance in identifying the second involved robbery suspect. If you can identify this suspect, please call 425-760-2540.
