EVERETT—Washington State University (WSU) President Kirk Schulz will deliver the 2024 State of the University address from 3:10–4:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, at the WSU Everett campus in Room 109. The event will also be livestreamed.
The president’s address will cover a wide range of topics, including key takeaways from the last year at WSU, national headwinds facing higher education, and how WSU is adapting to the evolving landscape while remaining committed to its mission and its people.
WSU Everett Chancellor Paul Pitre will commence the event with a brief welcome, which will be followed by President Schulz’s keynote address. The pair will then participate in a Q&A session moderated by Faculty Senate Chair Eric Shelden.
Questions for the Q&A should be submitted via the Office of the President’s website by March 24.
The State of the University is one of several events taking place as part of Showcase, the annual event that honors the academic achievements of the university community. More information about Showcase is available on the program’s website.
