PORTLAND—Nathan Caferro, a Sports Events Coordinator at Snohomish County Sports Commission, was honored by Sports ETA as the Rising Star of the Year. He was one of 10 awardees honored today among the 800 Sports ETA member organizations.
Caferro accepted the award at the annual Sports ETA Symposium held this week in Portland, Oregon. The Sports ETA Member Awards sponsor is Team Travel Source.
The Rising Star of the Year award recognizes those who are just starting their careers in sports events and tourism and are already making an impact.
The award judges commented: “Nathan Caferro, the sports events coordinator at the Snohomish County Sports Commission, impressed the judges with his innovation and “how can I help” attitude, while only serving in his role for a little over a year and a half!”
