SHORELINE—Construction Crews working on the Lynnwood Link Extension will be performing nighttime lane restrictions on westbound NE 175th Street starting Tuesday, May 28, and from Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2, Sound Transit will be performing a weekend road closure of NE 185th St from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE.
Westbound NE 175th Street lane restriction for signal pole foundation work
As early as Tuesday, May 28, Sound Transit will continue performing nighttime lane restrictions on westbound NE 175th St. These lanes will be restricted for curb and sidewalk restoration on the northeast corner of the northbound I-5 on- and off-ramp intersection. Crews perform this work at night due to the restricted hours for westbound lane closures of NE 175th St.

- The lane restrictions will occur during working hours and re-open during non-work hours.
- Residents should expect construction noise from equipment being operated at night such as an excavator, a concrete breaker, a haul truck, a concrete truck, a concrete vibrator, a concrete demo saw, crew trucks, light plants, and various hand tools.
- If there are work delays, we will schedule additional closures and residents will receive a new flyer.

NE 185th St closed for new right-of-way alignment striping
From Friday, May 31, through Sunday, June 2, Sound Transit will be performing a weekend road closure of NE 185th St from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE for striping of the new NE 185th St right-of-way alignment. The work is part of the Lynnwood Link Extension.
- Closure of NE 185th St from 5th Ave NE to 8th Ave NE will remain in place for 48 hours to complete the work. Detour routes are in place for drivers (see map).
- Local access will be provided to residents that live within the road closure limits.
- Residents should expect construction noise from equipment being operated with louder noise such as an MMA truck, a thermoplastic truck, a paint truck, a hydro blaster, an air compressor, a generator, and light plants.
- If work is delayed beyond the provided dates, a new road closure will be scheduled and a new flyer will be provided to residents.
