Lynnwood 44th and 48th road closures beginning June 3

LYNNWOOD—Construction crews working on the Lynnwood Link Extension will be performing utility work, median demolition and road paving starting Monday, June 3, expect road closures and detours.

Center lane closure on 44th Ave W

As early as Monday, June 3, Sound Transit’s contractor will continue work on 44th Ave W for median demolition and road paving. This work will require crews to close the center lane on southbound 44th Ave W, north of 200th St SW. The left turn lane will be closed, so we will provide a detour to travel eastbound on Alderwood Mall Blvd. The contractor has received a temporary noise variance to complete this work.

Full closure of 48th Ave W

As early as Tuesday, June 4, Sound Transit’s contractor will finish utility crossings on 200th St SW. This work will require the closure of 48th Ave W north of 200th St SW. We will maintain access to businesses and residences on 200th St SW, and detours will be provided (see map).
