Mukilteo Youth Advisory Committee seeks applicants

MUKILTEO—The City of Mukilteo is excited to announce that applications are now open for student residents of Mukilteo between the ages of 14-18 to join the Mukilteo Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) for the 2024-25 school year.

MYAC was established in 2009 to serve as a vital link between the youth of our community and the City. Comprised of up to 15 dedicated members, MYAC aims to make policy recommendations, plan, organize, coordinate, and participate in drug and alcohol-free social, cultural, recreational, educational, and other activities for youth in our community, and foster youth involvement in local governance.

Interested applicants can learn more and apply at https://mukilteowa.gov/339/Mukilteo-Youth-Advisory-Committee-MYAC. Please keep in mind that there are separate applications for returning members and new applicants. Applications are due by 5:00 pm on Friday, August 9, 2024.
