City reminds residents that Fireworks are illegal in Marysville

MARYSVILLE—As we look forward to the July 4th holiday, the City of Marysville is reminding Marysville residents and visitors that all fireworks are illegal within city limits.

Click map for information on where to and not discharge fireworks.

People who have, use, sell, trade or discharge fireworks inside the city are breaking the law. Leading up to and through the holiday, Marysville Police are conducting extra patrols and strongly enforcing the law. If you are caught breaking the law, you will be fined a minimum of $513. Fireworks will be confiscated and, depending on the violation, you may be subject to jail time.

Residents are encouraged to report illegal fireworks by calling the non-emergency line at 425-407-3999. To keep emergency phone lines open, please do not call 911 unless there is an immediate threat to life or property.

Only public displays approved by the Fire Marshal are allowed. For more information, visit https://www.marysvillefiredistrict.org/fireworks/marysville-fireworks/.
