Public transit operating schedules for July 4

All Community Transit service and Sound Transit buses will operate on a Sunday schedule on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4.

  • All Community Transit bus and DART paratransit service: Sunday schedule
  • Sound Transit buses: Sunday schedule
  • Zip Alderwood Shuttle: Regular operation, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Customer Care phone lines and RideStore: Closed

Fireworks Prohibited on Community Transit Properties and Buses

As Independence Day approaches, Community Transit reminds passengers that fireworks are not allowed on buses or any transit property, including transit centers and park & ride lots.

Community Transit is responsible for providing bus and paratransit service, vanpool, and innovative transit options in Snohomish County. The agency is expanding the Swift bus rapid transit network to connect to light rail and provide fast, frequent service throughout the county.

Sound Transit to run extended Link 1 and 2 Line service for July 4

People celebrating Independence Day this year will be able to enjoy the convenience of extended hours of service on Link. The 1 Line will run on a Sunday schedule, with service extended until 2 a.m., and the 2 Line will run until midnight.

To accommodate people attending the Bellevue Family 4th at Bellevue Downtown Park, the last 2 Line train from Bellevue Downtown Station to South Bellevue Station will depart at 11:48 p.m. The last Redmond Technology Station-bound train from Bellevue Downtown Station will leave at 11:39 p.m.

Free parking is available at South Bellevue, BelRed and Redmond Technology stations. Several stations are accessible from the Eastrail corridor and the regional trail network. Secure bike parking is available at every station.

Link 1 Line trains will operate on an extended Sunday schedule on July 4. The last train departing Angle Lake Station will be at 12:41 a.m. July 5, and the last train departing Northgate will be at 12:55 a.m. July 5.

ST Express bus routes will run on a normal Sunday schedule, as will the T Line. Sounder commuter rail service will not operate on July 4.
