SEATTLE—Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force (SRDTF) with other law enforcement agencies, conducted an arrest operation that led to the seizure of multiple high-powered firearms and methamphetamine.
On June 19, detectives from SRDTF conducted an arrest operation and executed a search warrant in the 5500 block of S. 129th Street in Seattle. They were assisted by deputies from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Everett Police Department Anti-Crime and Violent Crime Unit.
The suspect was tracked from his residence to a nearby gas station. A pin was initiated, leading to a several-minute battle during which the suspect unsuccessfully attempted to force his vehicle out of the pin. The suspect was eventually apprehended, and two handguns were recovered from his vehicle.
Following the arrest, the search warrant was executed at the suspect’s 5th wheel residence and box van.
Detectives recovered 12 additional firearms, including a .50 caliber sniper rifle, two sawed-off shotguns, AR-style rifles, and an AK-47 rifle. Additionally, about a pound of methamphetamine was found.
The 35-year-old suspect was booked into King County Jail on multiple counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm – 1st Degree (a Class B felony) and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
