EVERETT—Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are investigating a drive-by shooting of a 17-year-old male that occurred on the 600 block of 124 St SW, near Mariner High School, at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
The victim has been transported to Providence Hospital-Colby Campus with gunshot wounds to the leg and chest, according to initial reports. The victim has undergone emergency surgery and is expected to survive his injuries.
Two male subjects were seen fleeing the scene in an unknown vehicle.
There is a large police presence at 124 St SW in South Everett near the drive-by shooting and the area is currently closed to through traffic. Please avoid the area while the investigation continues.
