SNOHOMISH—At approximately 2:45 a.m., Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 11000 block of 206th Street SE in Snohomish for a shooting, and upon arrival, deputies located a 29-year-old male deceased at the scene.
During the investigation, Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives learned there was an altercation between a 29-year-old man and a 58-year-old man. The altercation turned physical, and the 29-year-old was shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 58-year-old suspect was taken into custody and is being interviewed by detectives. This remains an active investigation.
Positive identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner of death, will come from the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
