LYNNWOOD—Lynnwood Police arrest alleged female mastermind behind organized retail theft ring in Snohomish County.
On Monday August 5, Lynnwood Police Department Detectives, in collaboration with prosecutors at the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office, arrested Hayley Natasha Brown, a 28-year-old female, at an apartment in the 14600 block of 179th Ave SE in Monroe.
Detectives allege the female was the mastermind of an elaborate gift card fraud scheme depriving hundreds of victims of their gift card balances without their knowledge. One business estimated the loss to their business and customers was nearly $100,000.
During a search of her residence, investigators located several stolen firearms, one of which was an Uzi-style firearm with an affixed silencer.
Investigators also located a credit card embosser, tools used to create fake checks, approximately one pound of illegal drugs and seized approximately $40,000 in cash.
The female was booked on August 5th for Organized Retail Theft, Identity Theft, Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Possession of Stolen Firearm, Financial Fraud, and Manufacture/Delivery of Illegal Drugs. Brown was released on $200,000 bond the next day.
Detectives anticipate additional charges and future arrests of other co-conspirators.

What about other stores they’ve been targeting, i.e. famous footwear bath and body works and once upon a time homedepot.
Released on bond! Why!!
Did she use gift cards to cover her bond?
Apparently she just got out of prison for the same thing.. hope they prosecute to the max this time
Why give her bail? she clearly has the money to cover it.
