LAKE STEVENS—The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Major Crime Unit Detectives are investigating the death a female in Lake Stevens.
Around 8 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to reports of a suspicious death in the 11800 block of 84th St NE. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, a deceased female at the scene in Lake Stevens. The nature of the incident appeared suspicious, and deputies requested detectives respond to assist. Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives responded to the scene and are continuing to investigate.
Positive identification of the decedent, as well as cause and manner of death, will be determined by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
This remains an active investigation.
