EVERETT—After a months-long investigation, law enforcement busted Karim Malik Davis for an alleged illegal drug operation out if a South Everett motel room on Friday, August 23, with support from the Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force, Everett Police Anti-Crime Team, and the Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force.
The man is alleged to have been selling drugs out of a room of the Sunrise Motel located at 8421 Evergreen Way near Casino Road in South Everett, for months.
Detectives were able to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect, where he was arrested without incident.
The man was enroute to make another sale and had a supply of fentanyl on his lap when detectives stopped him.
During the arrest and the subsequent search of the man’s motel room, detectives recovered a handgun and proceeds from the drug sales.
Drug seizures in this case included 5.5 pounds of fentanyl powder, 7 ounces of methamphetamine, 700 fentanyl pills (commonly known as “blues”), heroin, and crack cocaine.
Following the arrest, the suspect’s vehicle was impounded, pending seizure and forfeiture proceedings.
The suspect was booked into Snohomish County Jail, and on August 26, 2024, Davis posted his $250,000 bond and has been released.
This case remains an active investigation.
