Call for artists of all ages for Lynnwood art exhibitions

LYNNWOOD—The city of Lynnwood is inviting visual artists of ALL AGES who reside within Washington State submit artwork for its 2025 exhibits in the City Hall Art Gallery and the Lynnwood Rec Center. Artist submissions will be juried by the Lynnwood Arts Commission who will notify successful applicants by December of 2024. The deadline to apply is October 27, 2024.

Youth artists can also apply to exhibit at the Lynnwood Rec Center. City Hall is reserved for artists of all ages and the Lynnwood Rec Center is reserved only for artists under 18 years of age.

All artwork displayed must remain installed for the specified duration of the exhibit which is typically six to eight weeks.

This is a public space visited by people of many cultures, nationalities, and ages. The City reserves the right to not exhibit work that is deemed inappropriate—e.g. contains nudity, inappropriate language, etc.

ABOUT THE CITY HALL GALLERY: Inside City Hall at 19100 44th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036. Space is 32 linear feet for 10-15 pieces of medium sized art. Most shows are 2-person shows, so 5-8 pieces per artist.

ABOUT THE REC CENTER GALLERY: Located inside Lynnwood Rec Center at 18900 44th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA 98036. The total space is 12 linear feet accommodating 6-8 pieces of medium sized art.
