“This is an exciting milestone for us,” said Jatin Kumar. “I am thrilled for our customer and am hopeful that this is just the beginning of many more wins for our store.”

M&M Mart, a gas station owned and operated by father and son duo, Lalit (Lucky) Mehta and Jatin Kumar Mehta, has been serving the Marysville community for the last three years. Since purchasing the store at 15218 Smokey Point Blvd, the Mehta family has built great relationships with several of their regular customers. Little did they know that they would end up selling a lottery ticket worth half-a-million dollars to one of these customers.

This “regular” has exclusively bought his Scratch tickets at M&M Mart since the Mehta family has owned the store, and he always makes sure to strike up a conversation with Lucky and Jatin at the front counter. One day, the customer came in and purchased a $20 Six Figures Scratch ticket from Jatin, which he scratched and took straight to the Lottery Vending Machine to scan. When the words “See Washington’s Lottery Regional Office” appeared on the screen, the customer re-approached Jatin and asked if he could scan the ticket. To their amazement, it turned out to be worth the game’s top prize: $500,000.

Washington’s Lottery offers Scratch games priced between $1 and $30, each with varying prize amounts. The number of actual prizes available in a game may vary based on the number of tickets printed, tested, distributed, sold, and number of prizes claimed. Players can find Washington’s Lottery retail locations here.

  1. The son is a sexist POS who caused a scene after I spent over $70 in food gas and a vape device. After pumping gas I pulled into a parking spot to set up my vape device and within seconds I was attacked by the worker telling me to suck his dick calling me a slut then picked up a rock to throw at me as I fumbled for my phone to call the authorities. The most disrespectful douche bag I’ve ever come across. I had been in the store many times before buying gas and cigarettes. One of the workers would give me a lighter on the house whenever I bought cigarettes. This was totally out of the blue and for no reason whatsoever. I had my 10 year old son with me when this obscene behavior took place. We were both fearful for our safety. I would t go back even for $500,000.

      1. Mr.Poonjab? Is that’s whats that guys name?
You are making racist comments because you were caught stealing in store today. I saw your post on facebook. Store had to post your pictures on facebook so they can know who you are. I saw you posting a screenshot in comments about this website. Just talked to owner they said you KRYSTLE BERG has been going to their store and attempting to steal candies. When you get caught you runaway. Now they have your name and they posted your pictures on door so that other people can learn what not to do.

    1. If something like that happened then why did you not call cops. Without proof you can’t defame a store like this. Been going to store for many years and under there ownership never had any issues. Someone won a $500k at this store by playing a $20 ticket. Karma is real for sure the store deserves it and so the customer. If you have issues with store then report it to the owners if they dont fix it then report it to authorities who can handle it. There’s cameras running all the time you saying all that but not calling cops and getting that reported sounds fake. Will be giving them my business even I don’t get 500k. 😅
