52-y/o female in stable condition after drive-by shooting in Lynnwood area

LYNNWOOD—A 52-year-old female fell victim to a drive-by shooting in unincorporated Lynnwood near the intersection of HWY 99 and 148th Street at approximately 8 p.m. Friday evening.

On Friday, September 13, 2024, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to the 14800 block of Highway 99 around 8:00 p.m. for reports of a shooting near Lynnwood. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, a 52-year-old female, with a gunshot wound to the leg. Deputies rendered aid and the victim was transported by aid to Providence Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

During the investigation, deputies learned the victim was walking down the street near Bartell Drugs with several other people, when a vehicle driving by fired multiple rounds, striking the victim once. 

A shell casing was recovered from the scene. Multiple possible suspects were seen fleeing from the scene in an unknown vehicle. No additional information is available at this time.
