EDMONDS—A 2-alarm fire at Cedar Court Apartments on Saturday, September 14, sent two adults to Swedish Edmonds Campus with minor non-life-threatening injuries. No firefighters were hurt.

More than 60 firefighters of South County Fire and Shoreline Fire Department arrive to Cedar Court Apartment located at 8814 236th St SW, Edmonds, shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday with smoke pouring from the one-story complex.
It took 40 minutes to get the fire under control, with firefighters working inside the building and on the roof to stop fire spreading through the attic.
A total eight apartment units at the were impacted with fire or smoke damage, leaving 11 people displaced. Support 7 and Red Cross volunteers are assisting residents with temporary housing and other needs.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by South County Fire.
