Family Peace Association and LPD team up for children’s Halloween costume-making project

LYNNWOOD—The Lynnwood Police Department will be teaming up with the Family Peace Association this Saturday, September 21, for a children’s Halloween costume-making project – crafting Halloween costumes for local children.

The event will be held at the Pacific Peace Center, located at 6328 180th Street Southwest in Lynnwood, from 9 a.m. until noon, and is open to anyone and everyone who want to lend their crafting “spirit” to a good cause.

Bring your own sewing machine, crafting supplies, fabric, glue guns, glue sticks, or whatever else you need to put together your best spooky costumes that will be donated to little trick-or-treaters across the community.

While there will be some crafting materials provided there it’s encouraged to bring your own.

Community members can also bring used or gently used and laundered costumes to donate Saturday for the upcoming Costumes with a Cop giveaway event which will be held October 5.
