LYNNWOOD—Lynnwood Police Department Detectives are asking the public’s help in identifying an alleged groper who assaulted an 18-year-old female on September 25, 2024. Suspect has taken Mukilteo and Lynnwood bus routes.
On September 23, 2024, an eighteen-year-old female was riding a bus when a male approached and said she was cute. On September 25, 2024, the same male approached the eighteen-year-old female at a bus stop near 68th and 200th and grabbed her buttocks. That day, the female went to Rainer Place on the Edmonds College Campus to report the incident.
The front desk employee said a similar thing happened to her six years prior and showed the victim pictures of the suspect. The eighteen-year-old female confirmed the pictures depicted the male who grabbed her buttocks earlier.
The Rainer Place employee explained that approximately 6 years ago, on a bus between Mukilteo and Lynnwood, the male suspect moved seats on the bus to sit near and stare at the Rainer Place employee. The employee took pictures and videos of the male but didn’t report it to law enforcement at the time.
Police suspect that the same male is involved in both incidents.
The male is described to be a white man, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build, a long beard, grayish blond hair, and wearing sunglasses and approached the female while pushing a red bicycle.
