East County Deputies investigating Christmas morning shooting in Gold Bar

GOLD BAR—Around 1:40 a.m. Wednesday morning, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a Christmas shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Croft Ave in Gold Bar.

The suspect, a 58-year-old male, shot a 48-year-old male during a verbal argument and then fled the scene on foot. The 48-year-old victim was transported to Providence for a gunshot wound. This appears to be an isolated incident between two acquaintances.

East patrol deputies are actively working to locate the suspect from this incident and are asking anyone with information to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 425-388-3845. Anyone with immediate suspect information is asked to call 9-1-1.

This remains an active investigation.
