Snohomish County FIFA 2026 Ready Meeting scheduled for Jan 21

EVERETTโ€”Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC), in collaboration with the Snohomish County Sports Commission, is hosting the Snohomish County FIFA 2026 Ready Meeting on Tuesday, January 21, to prepare the region for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026. The virtual event will bring together key stakeholders to discuss strategies for maximizing the economic and community impact of this global event.

Speakers for the event include Tammy Dunn, Executive Director of the Snohomish County Sports Commission; Juan Higuera, Executive Strategic Advisor at Sound Transit; Tyler Chism, Placemaking Program Manager for the City of Everett; and Dylan Ordonez, Commissioner of the Seattle Sports Commission. Ray Stephanson, Interim CEO and Executive Director of EASC will moderate the conversation. 

โ€œThe FIFA World Cup 2026 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Snohomish County to showcase its vibrant community and economic potential,โ€ says Stephanson. โ€œBy coming together to plan and prepare, we can ensure that our region thrives both during and long after this global event.โ€ย 

The Snohomish County FIFA 2026 Ready Meeting will cover critical topics such as transportation, infrastructure development, tourism promotion, and business readiness, providing attendees with valuable insights into how Snohomish County can effectively leverage the opportunities presented by the World Cup.ย
