LYNNWOOD—The City of Lynnwood Development & Business Services Department (DBS) is excited to announce the launch of its Small Business Development Program designed to support local businesses as they grow and succeed.
The program will offer a variety of technical assistance services, including business development workshops, financial guidance and support for accessing lending options, marketing and promotional support, and networking opportunities.
For Lynnwood’s Business Development Program Manager Simreet Dhaliwal-Gill, this initiative is part of the City’s ongoing commitment to fostering a thriving local economy.
“Lynnwood is home to nearly 6,000 businesses and our small businesses play a pivotal role in providing diverse goods and services throughout our region” said Dhaliwal-Gill. “They are the backbone of our community. We want to hear from them so we can work together to equip them with the tools and support they need. Together, we can build a stronger, more resilient business community.” Â
DBS is also conducting a Small Business Needs Survey to help better understand the challenges faced by local businesses and to identify how the City of Lynnwood can better support and strengthen the small business community.
The survey aims to identify the unique challenges and needs of small businesses. Whether small business owners seek assistance with funding, expertise, marketing, or other resources, this feedback will help shape programs and initiatives that provide real solutions.
Small businesses can participate in the survey by visiting https://bit.ly/DBS-Survey or clicking the button below.
If your business is looking for in-depth support, the first Small Business Workshop is scheduled for March 10 at 4 p.m. at the Lynnwood Library. This free workshop will host representatives from Small Business Administration, Washington Office of Regulatory and Innovation Assistance, and the Small Business Development Center.
This workshop is open to any Lynnwood business or entrepreneur and will offer the opportunity to connect with service providers. For more information or to RSVP visit http://www.lynnwoodwa.gov/Small-Business-Workshop.Â
