LYNNWOOD—Washington State Patrol is reporting the death of Tyler J Conaway, 20, of Granite Falls, who was driving his motorcycle at the time of the incident. The incident occurred shortly after 11:22 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025.
Conaway was driving his 2011 Ducati motorcycle southbound on I-5 at mile point 183 near Lynnwood when it stuck the rear tire of a Ford F350 as Conway merged into the adjacent lane. Conway was pronounced deceased at the scene by South County Fire. He was wearing his helmet.
No drugs nor alcohol are suspected to have contributed to the fatal collision.
