Crossfire Premier claims multiple ECNL National Championships

REDMONDCrossfire Premier (XF), a local soccer club, put the Pacific Northwest on the national stage this summer by winning multiple championships in the prestigious Elite Clubs National League (ECNL).

The ECNL, made up of the nation’s top select programs, features 151 boys’ teams from across the country and is regarded as one of the top two youth leagues in the U.S. soccer pyramid, alongside Major League Soccer’s academy system.

At the ECNL national tournament in Richmond, Virginia, Crossfire Premier’s teams dominated across multiple age groups.

The U13 Academy ECNL team defeated Legends FC 2-0 in the finals. The U14 squad edged Concord Fire 1-0, the U17 team posted a 4-0 victory over St. Louis Scott Gallagher SC, and the U18/19 squad secured a 3-2 win against Eclipse Select.

With these victories, Crossfire’s U13, U14, U17, and U18/19 teams all captured national titles, earning the club overall championships.

“Crossfire Premier is based in Redmond with most players coming from the Eastside and Seattle metro area, while also drawing talent from Eastern Washington, the Tri-Cities, Yakima, and the Vancouver and Portland metro areas,” said Kyle Corn of XF.

According to Corn, Crossfire Premier provides top-level competitive training across a wide range of age groups, from its XF Futures program for 5- and 6-year-olds through U18/19 teams.

The club has produced numerous professional players, including U.S. international DeAndre Yedlin, Hasani Dotson, and Kelyn Rowe.

In addition, Crossfire has developed a significant number of male and female athletes who have gone on to compete at the NCAA Division I level.
