Lynnwood driver arrested for DUI after totaling four vehicles

LYNNWOOD—A 20-year-old driver in Lynnwood was arrested Monday night on charges of DUI and three counts of hit and run. The driver, nor anyone else, were injured, according to the Lynnwood PD.

Around 11:20 p.m. Monday, August 25, Lynnwood Police Officers responded to multiple 911 calls in the 18400 block of 52nd Avenue West in Lynnwood. Calls reported a Dodge Challenger was crashing into several parked cars near the Hillside Apartments, the Lynnwood PD said.

The 20-year-old driver, found to be under the influence, damaged three parked vehicles and completely totaled his own. He was arrested and booked into jail on charges of DUI and three counts of hit and run.

The Lynnwood PD took to social media Tuesday to remind the public not to drink and drive.
