City of Mill Creek accepting applications to Park & Recreation Board, deadline is December 10

MILL CREEK—The City of Mill Creek is currently accepting applications for one unexpired term on its Park & Recreation Board. The term will expire on October 31, 2027. Applications will be accepted through December 10, 2025, by close of business day.

Advisory boards and commissions are excellent options for anyone who has wanted to have a voice in important decisions that affect Mill Creek and to work with others to make a positive difference in the community. The City is actively engaging in important work and this is your opportunity to help direct the vision on how you want your community to look and feel.

Interested Mill Creek residents are invited to apply by completing and submitting the Park & Recreation Board application by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, located on the Park & Recreation Board page on the City’s website.  Most boards/commissions hold a monthly evening meeting.

Members of boards and commissions are appointed by the City Council; however, members of the Civil Service Commission are appointed by the City Manager. Interviews will be scheduled soon after the deadline on a date to be determined.
