Woodinville teen dies in vehicle collision near Monroe

MONROE—An 18-year-old Woodinville young man succumbed to his injuries following a fatal collision near Monroe on SR-203 on Wednesday evening. The driver of a second vehicle was transported to EvergreenHealth Monroe, as a precaution.

At approximately 6 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, Fox Dreyer, 18, of Woodinville, was traveling southbound on SR-203. Near milepost 20, in an attempt to pass traffic, he struck a vehicle in the northbound lane driven by Callie Wheller, 21, of Monroe. Dreyer was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts and Drugs or Alcohol is not suspected at this time.
