Upcoming Feb 7 Mukilteo City Council Meeting

MUKILTEO, Wash., February 5, 2022 – The Mukilteo City Council will hold a REGULAR BUSINESS Meeting on Monday, February 7, 2022, starting at 7 p.m. This meeting will be held VIRTUALLY only.

View the full council agenda packet, click here. For its 7 p.m. Monday, February 7 REGULAR BUSINESS Meeting, the Mukilteo City Council will discuss/vote the following items:

  • ARP Funding: Embedded Social Worker Program/Contract (AB22-05, RES22-01, Agreement)

ARP Funding: Embedded Social Worker Program/Contract

The council will review a $63,908 agreement by Compass Health to offer the services of an Embedded Care Coordinator. The term of this Agreement shall run from the date of its execution through December 31, 2022, unless extended or terminated. The City reserved the right to offer two (2) one-year extensions prior to the expiration of this Agreement to retain Compass’ services.

Scope of the agreement is to provide an Embedded Care Coordinator to address individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use concerns (hereinafter referred to jointly as behavioral health), physical health issues, as well as challenges related to social determinants of health, including but not limited to homelessness.

Council Committee Format Discussion

The City Council currently utilizes four standing committees to hear from staff on various topics. These committees are: Finance & IT, Land Use & Economic Development, Infrastructure, and Public Safety. The council would like to approve Agenda items for these committees, prior to the item being placed on a regular meeting agenda.
