School delays and cancellations for November 30

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, Wash., November 30, 2022 – School districts across the Snohomish County have issued alerts of delays and cancellations for Wednesday, November 30, 2022.

Arlington

Home – Arlington Public Schools (wednet.edu)

All schools will be starting two hours late this morning. There will be no out-of-district transportation, no AM/PM APPLE or Presidents Preschool, and no Skills Center or Regional Apprenticeship Program. Bus routes 4, 9, 16, and 19 will operate on limited transportation routes this morning.

Edmonds

Home – Edmonds School District (wednet.edu)

All schools are closed today, Wednesday, November 30, due to power outages and current road conditions. All after-school activities and evening events at district buildings (including non-district events) are also canceled.

Everett

2-hour late start, regular bus routes (everettsd.org)\

Today, November 30, all schools in Everett Public Schools will start two hours late due to weather conditions. There will be no A.M. Preschool or ECEAP. Buses will run on snow routes and there will be no out-of-district transportation. Go to www.everettsd.org and click on headline for links to snow routes, and impact chart to learn about programs affected by late starts. Stay safe and warm!

We know you are the primary decision-maker for your children, and count on you, as we do each parent or guardian of one of our students, to make those individual decisions about your children’s safety.

Please watch media reports, our web page or our social media for information about tomorrow’s schedule. If there is no announcement, schools will operate on a normal schedule. We will give families as much advance notice as possible about school closures or delays.

Granite Falls

Granite Falls School District 332 / Homepage (wednet.edu)

2 Hours Late, AM/PM Buses on snow routes. No out-of-district transportation; No activity bus

Lake Stevens

Wednesday: All schools will start two hours late today due to snow and icy conditions throughout Lake Stevens. There will be no a.m. preschool and no out-of-district transportation, including morning and afternoon Sno-Isle buses.

Buses will be on snow routes throughout the district and will pick students up two hours later than the normal time. 

Afternoon dismissal is at the regular time. Lunch will be served to students.

Marysville

Marysville School District 25 | Home (msd25.org)

November 30, 2022: Schools will start 2 hours late with buses operating on Limited Transportation Routes (Snow Routes). There is no Out-of-District Transportation (Skill Center, RAP, McKinney-Vento), no half-day Preschool or 21st Century After-School Program.

Students in full-day classes in grades Pre – 12 will start 2 hours late. Dismissal time will not change.

The District will monitor the weather conditions closely to determine if Limited Transportation Routes will still be in effect this afternoon and if there will be any impact on after-school programs and activities. Please stay connected for information and updates as the day progresses.


Las escuelas comenzarán con 2 horas de retraso y los autobuses operarán en rutas de transporte limitadas (rutas de nieve). No hay transporte fuera del distrito (Skill Center, RAP, McKinney-Vento), no hay preescolar de medio día ni programa extracurricular 21st Century.

Monroe

Home – Monroe School District (wednet.edu)

Due to heavy snow accumulation overnight, power outages at several schools, and unsafe road conditions, all schools will be closed today, 11/30/22. There will be no out-of-district transportation and all activities and events are canceled. Have fun and stay safe!

Mukilteo

Mukilteo School District schools are closed today because of hazardous conditions and multiple power outages. All school events and activities have been canceled for today, including athletic games, team practices and after-school meetings or events. Information about the rescheduling of these events will be made available in the coming days.

Northshore

Northshore School District (nsd.org): Today, Wednesday November 30, Northshore Schools are closed due to inclement weather. poor road conditions, and several schools without power. Public utilities haven’t been able to provide a power restoration time for these schools. 

All district schools are closed, there are no after-school or evening activities, athletics, or band/orchestra, and there is no out-of-district transportation. Please check with your childcare provider regarding services. 

The Northshore Administration Building will be closed to the public.

Snohomish

Snohomish School District: Due to snow, weather and road conditions, all Snohomish School District schools will be closed on Wednesday, November 30. We will update families around noon today regarding the status of evening activities.
