Snohomish County, Wash., January 4, 2023—The Community Transit Board of Directors’ monthly board meeting will take place at 3 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 5. The board will hear staff updates on:
- Swift Program
- Free Youth Transit Pass
The board is scheduled to take action on:
- Approval for Zero Emission Pilot Project Consulting
- Purchase of ticket vending machines for Swift Orange and Blue lines
- Purchase of transit security officer vehicles
In-person attendance: Meeting attendees must show proof of vaccination upon entry or wear a KN95 mask for the duration of the meeting. If you are unable or do not wish to show proof of vaccination, a KN95 mask will be provided for you.
The board holds regular meetings on the first Thursday of each month. The Community Transit Board Room is in the Cascade Building, 2312 W Casino Rd, Everett, WA 98204.
Community Transit is responsible for providing bus and paratransit service, vanpool and alternative commute options in Snohomish County. The agency is building a network of Swiftbus rapid transit lines with Swift Blue Line along Highway 99, the Swift Green Line between Canyon Park/Bothell and Boeing/Paine Field, and the Swift Orange Line coming to Mill Creek and Lynnwood in 2024.
