Sign up now for free emergency preparedness CERT training

MARYSVILLE, Wash., August 23, 2023—When disaster strikes, will you know what to do? Learn how to be prepared, respond in emergencies and help your community with Marysville’s free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training.

Classes run from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday evenings from September 19 through October 12 at Marysville Fire Station 62 located at 10701 Shoultes Road. Marysville residents and business owners are encouraged to participate or send employees. Participants must be 18 or older; or ages 16-17 with parent or guardian permission.

CERT is a nationally recognized program that teaches you about disaster preparedness for hazards that could affect this area and offers basic response skills training including fire safety, search and rescue, and medical operations.
