Marysville seeks performers for new city talent show

Do you have a hidden talent that you want to showcase? Are you ready to take the stage and entertain the audience and perhaps even win as the top performer?

If yes, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! The City of Marysville is organizing a talent show for Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Marysville Opera House. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event will start at 7 p.m. and will feature a variety of acts ranging from singing, dancing, comedy, and more.

If you’re interest in participating, please fill out the “Performer Interest” registration form no later than Friday, February 23, 2024. Also required is a video or pictures of your act. 

A $25 entry fee will be charged after your act is approved. For approved performers, there will be a rehearsal on Tuesday, March 5th.

This event is emceed by radio host Stitch Mitchell, hear feedback from the judges after each performance, and as audience participants, you help the judges decide who wins! Beer and wine available for purchase. Light bite concessions will be served. This event is non-refundable.

This is a family friendly event. No weapons of any kind allowed, no profanity, flames, fog machines, smoke, glitter, confetti, rice, marshmallows, or helium balloons allowed. All acts must be approved before acceptance. There is a limited number of performances accepted.
