EDMONDS—Three people were arrested and booked into Snohomish and King County jails after Edmonds Police responded to a suspicious vehicle call at approximately 9:50 a.m. on Friday, December 29.
As officers were looking into a suspicious vehicle in the 1100 Blk of 3rd Avenue S, they recognized a wanted subject at an associated residence.
The wanted suspect, Brandon Michael Crister, ignoring the officers informing him that he was under arrest, went inside the residence of Ann Katherine Cochran, and refused to surrender. Brandon Critser had warrants for felony and misdemeanor crimes, according to police.
Officers suspected that the subject’s brother, Jordan Critser, also a wanted felon for residential burglary, was also in the home. Additional resources and a negotiator then responded to the scene.
After extended de-escalation and negotiation efforts for hours, and with an approved search warrant, officers entered the home around 4 p.m.
Brandon Critser, 41, from Edmonds, was found hiding in the trunk of a car in the garage. He had felony warrant for eluding police and misdemeanor warrants for theft and resisting arrest and now will face new charges of obstructing and resisting arrest. He was booked into the Sno County Jail.
Brandon’s brother Jordon, 42, from Edmonds, was found by a Marysville K9 in a bedroom of the home. He was treated at the hospital for minor K9 contact and then booked into King County Jail. Jordan had felony warrant for residential burglary out of King County and now misdemeanor charges in Edmonds will be referred for obstructing and resisting arrest.
Cochran, the 64-year-old female and owner of the home, was booked into Snohomish County Jail for rendering criminal assistance and obstructing police.
No officers were injured during the incident. Law enforcement from the Bothell Police Department and Kirkland Police Department also assisted with the arrests in the operation.
