EVERETT—Snohomish County Human Services, Early Head Start (EHS) program, is proud to announce an expansive initiative aimed at supporting families and caregivers with young children throughout Snohomish County. This milestone signifies the county’s efforts to ensure equitable access to vital resources and services for all residents, especially young children.
“We are excited to expand Early Head Start services to all corners of Snohomish County,” said Dave Somers, Snohomish County Executive, “Our goal is to ensure that every family in our community has access to high-quality early childhood services, regardless of where they live. By working together with community partners, we can amplify our impact and support families in building a strong foundation for their children’s future success.”
With the expansion of Early Head Start services to encompass all areas of Snohomish County, families across the region now have more access to comprehensive home-based early learning and family-centered support. Early Head Start, renowned for its commitment to nurturing relationships and fostering a lifelong love of learning, will now be available to serve families in every corner of the county.
The Early Head Start program offers a wide range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of families, including weekly home visits, play and learn groups, individualized support, parent education, and developmental screenings. By collaborating with community providers and partners, Early Head Start aims to raise awareness of its services and connect families with the resources they need to support their children’s development.
The continued work between Snohomish County Human Services and the Early Head Start program underscores the county’s commitment to promoting the well-being of children and families and building a thriving community for all residents.
