MUKILTEO—The City of Mukilteo is excited to announce the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of the Mukilteo Bike Park, located off 76th Street Southwest and 44th Avenue West, on June 15th at noon. The celebration will gather city officials, volunteers, and community residents to unveil the 6,000 sq/ft pump track and three jump lines (green, blue, and black).
The Mukilteo Bike Park is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our community. The idea for the park started years ago with a core group of volunteers who raised over $16,000. Then in 2022, the City Council approved $20,000 of ARPA funds for the project.
A committed group of over 20 volunteers utilized 300 cubic yards of dirt donated by contractors and invested over 2,000 hours of labor to construct the course. Their efforts resulted in the creation of ramps and slopes, as well as the installation of signage.
“The Mukilteo Bike Park is a great example of what our community can achieve when we work together,” says Mayor Joe Marine. “This park will provide a fantastic recreational opportunity for bike enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels.”
We invite everyone to join us on June 15th at noon to celebrate the opening of this new park!
